Jackson Burnside III, Native Son premiered at the Bahamas International Film Festival 2012
and won the Bahamian Oscar Award Best Feature Documentary 2013.

Tony Silva finished scoring Jackson Burnside III, Native Son, a one hour documentary produced by Island Films. It is the 4th film Silva has scored in this series about Bahamian artists.

The film will premiere in Nassau, Bahamas Friday Dec 7th & Saturday Dec 8th, and Eleuthera, Bahamas Wednesday Dec 12th Harbor Island & Thursday Dec13th Governors Harbor at the Bahamas International Film Festival in December 2012.

Tony Silva began scoring Jackson Burnside III, Native Son, a one hour documentary produced by Island Films. It is the 4th film Silva has scored in this series about Bahamian artists.

Tony Silva is the final stages of a 2-month-long project scoring a 6 minute film about FDR to be permanently installed in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum, 4079 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, NY 12538.

Installation date is not yet known.

Tony Silva contributed four music cues to a new orientation film for the American Antiquarian Society, produced by Florentine Films / Hott Productions that has just been released.

This short film describes the American Antiquarian Society (AAS). AAS is an independent research library and learned society founded in 1812 in Worcester, Massachusetts. The library's collections document the life of America's people from the colonial era through the Civil War and Reconstruction.

Amos Furguson, Match Me if you Can won the First Look prize for Best Feature at the Bahamas international Film Festival.

Islands of Life won the Spirit of Independents award at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival 2011.


Two new documentaries with scores by Tony Silva will premiere at the Bahamas International Film Festival December 2nd, 2011.
